XuXa: Homie Hangout Friday’s scheduled show has been postponed due to illness and the weather forecast, but we’ll still be here having a little “Homie Hangout”. And yes, if it sounds like a middle-aged woman, came up with the name it’s bc she did. ;) Anticipate good music, friends, and a beautifully tuned room. Possibly a bunch of DJs fighting for the decks. J/k but srsly, we have no shortage of amazing DJs in this city, and a lot of them happen to be our friends. Expect a chill one, but also… who knows? It’s Friday, and we never know how a night will go. There will def be good music though. XuXa is most def an extension of me, and so much love and hard work have gone into it. If you haven’t experienced the room, come by. It’s kind of like welcoming you into our living room, just like with a really good sound system and lighting. A hope it gives you a little of that old Austin feeling and you don’t know what that means, it means a space where you bring your friends, or come alone and walk out meeting some new people. If the rain changes your ACL plans or you’re nearby and have an itching to get out, come hang. We don’t want anyone driving through bad weather to get here, so only come if you can get here safely. We’ll be hanging and dancing Donation-based entry. Contributions help us keep the room going.
