fieldtest number three dj koolt ( sf debut ) naone ( sf debut ) milli meng --------------------------- few djs keep a dancefloor locked in like naone. seoul-born and now amsterdam-based, she pulls from our favorite parts of '90s and '00s house and techno: chuggy rollers, bleepy acid and dubbed-out tech house. all the perfect ingredients to put your head down and dance. it's been a big year for her, with sets at draaimolen, sustain-release, dekmantel selectors and making time. she also co-runs the down2earth label with denial, pushing her sound further through the label and her own productions. the forefather of uruguay's electronic music scene, dj koolt is a force of nature. while others left for europe, he stayed rooted in montevideo and co-founded phonotheque, the first club dedicated to underground electronic music in uruguay. now a mainstay at dekmantel, he brings hard-hitting acid, breaks and techno on vinyl with a distinct koolt edge. milli meng is one of our favorite bay area-based selectors, moving between percussive grooves, dub and ambient soundscapes. she's played at parameter this year and hosts a radio show with program, where she digs into the full range of her sound. --------------------------- in order to foster a healthy, inclusive club environment, cameras will be stickered at the door and talking must be kept to a minimum - please be mindful of your fellow dancers. we do not tolerate racism, homophobia, transphobia, sexual harassment, or any other form of hostility.
