If you know ๐ด๐๐๐ and ๐ณ๐๐๐ ๐ด๐ ๐น๐๐๐๐ from their release ๐ท๐๐๐ ๐ฉ๐๐๐๐ ๐ฌ๐๐๐๐๐ on @Dark Entries Records, you know they are just as in love with the 808 as the rest of us. When they ended their Pride set at Hard French with the ๐ฒ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐/๐พ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ฐ ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ remix we KNEW they were the perfect DJ for ๐ญ๐ฐ๐ฟ๐ฌ๐ซ ๐ฎ๐ณ๐ถ๐บ๐บ. What can we say about DJ ๐ช๐ฏ๐จ๐น๐ณ๐ฌ๐บ ๐ฏ๐จ๐พ๐ป๐ฏ๐ถ๐น๐ต๐ฌ? Infinitely lucky that we are on the same timeline. Charles was there for the very first ๐ญ๐ฐ๐ฟ๐ฌ๐ซ ๐ฎ๐ณ๐ถ๐บ๐บ and they mused out loud about what would they play for this party, so we booked them because WE WANT TO HEAR IT. We get a dark electronic set from THE Bay Area disco queen. BLESSED. ๐จ๐ณ๐ฐ๐ช๐ฌ ๐บ๐ป๐น๐ฐ๐ฉ๐ณ๐ฐ๐ต๐ฎ is the host and creator of ๐ญ๐ฐ๐ฟ๐ฌ๐ซ ๐ฎ๐ณ๐ถ๐บ๐บ and it is their BIRTHDAY PARTY. Literal decades of digging goes into these sets, and curating and cultivating this party is their favorite thing.
