HI SCARY PRONOUNS: Body Hack Is Back Oct 29 @nowadaysnyc with a lineup so fab that it SCARED US: @lustsickpuppy (LIVE), @ddddoula, @archangeldj B2B @ahighlysensitiveblackwoman, @ty_ushka, & @cielo__online This Month we’re raising funds for a collective of 6 queer/trans activists in Cusco facing criminal investigation for “offenses against public decency,” punishable by 4-6 years in prison, over their participation in the Cusco Pride March in July 2025. The Prosecutor’s Office is now deciding whether to move to formal indictment, all unfolding as Peru moves through a repressive, f4scist government tied to an authoritarian legacy. The outcome could set a dangerous precedent for freedom of artistic expression, peaceful assembly, and LGBTQ+ rights in Peru. Funds go to legal fees, and the group is asking human rights organizations to voice concern to Peruvian authorities and monitor reprisals. Come early to not miss our Costume Contest! During parties the driveway gate is locked, so please ask staff at the street entrance for assistance with entry. All of our bathrooms are gender-neutral. There is one accessible stall indoors. Just ask any Nowadays staff member for the key, and they can show you the way. During parties, seating is available both on and off the dance floor. While we don’t have a dedicated quiet space indoors during parties, the booths next to coat check are a little quieter, and the deck and back yard a little quieter than that. Most nighttime parties include the use of strobe lights and water based haze.
